Pulaski Pop Tops Name Logan Lawrence as Head Coach
PULASKI, VA — The Pulaski Pop Tops are proud to announce Logan Lawrence as the team’s Head Coach, bringing a winning background, player development experience, and a passion for building both teams and communities to the organization’s inaugural season.
A native of Orange City, Florida, Lawrence has built an impressive résumé early in his baseball career. As a player, he competed in two high school state championships, and as a coach, he has reached the NJCAA World Series. He currently serves as an Assistant Baseball Coach at NOC Tonkawa and was recognized for his impact in the collegiate summer game as the 2025 Assistant Coach of the Year for the St. Cloud Rox of the Northwoods League.
Off the field, Lawrence enjoys fishing, hunting, and following the “big four” sports, baseball, basketball, football, and hockey, reflecting his deep-rooted passion for athletics.
“This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the first year of a new league,” said Lawrence. “I’m looking forward to building not only a team that the community can be proud of, but also creating meaningful connections with the people of Pulaski.”
Lawrence’s vision for success goes beyond the scoreboard. While building a competitive team remains a priority, he emphasizes creating an environment where players and fans alike can take pride in the Pop Tops identity.
“Success isn’t just about wins and losses,” Lawrence explained. “It’s about players and fans enjoying the game of baseball and building a sense of pride in what it means to be a Pop Top, both on and off the field.”
With a focus on development, Lawrence is eager to help players grow during the summer season while contributing to the foundation of a brand-new league.
“I’m excited to help grow this league and give players a platform to showcase their talent,” he said. “Our goal is to refine their skills, not just as players, but as young men—and to compete to become the league’s first championship team while representing Pulaski the right way.”
Lawrence also emphasized the culture he hopes to instill within the organization—one built on effort, accountability, and attention to detail.
“This team will represent hard work, dedication, and doing the little things right,” he said. “We want to celebrate not only team success but individual accomplishments as well, and create a standard that extends beyond the field.”
As the Pulaski Pop Tops prepare for their inaugural season, Lawrence’s leadership, experience, and vision will play a key role in shaping a team that reflects the pride and spirit of the Pulaski community.
